Aquarists from 18 public aquariums have been trained to collect eggs from fish spawning on exhibit and to grow these baby fish. Their efforts, along with those of many others are
​                         being discussed
here. 

in partnership with Dr Andrew Rhyne of Roger Williams University
65 species of fish and invertebrates that were reared to settlement. This includes 61 that were grown to a size where they could be placed back onto exhibit, or were shipped to another institution (and hence assumed to be placed back onto exhibit).
